Naveen forms ministerial committee for Odia film industry development

The Odisha government on Monday formed a ministerial committee for the development of Odia film industry.

The board of trustees will be going by fund serve Sashi Bhusan Behera, said an announcement from the Chief Minister’s Office.

It would present an answer to the state government in multi month with respect to ventures to be taken for advancement of Odia film industry.


The state government will set up the Odia film arrangement in view of the report.

MSME serve Prafulla Samal and Industries serve Anant Das will be individuals from the advisory group. Enterprises secretary will be the convener.

Boss Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday examined the few issues identifying with Odia film industry and Kalinga Studio.

Strikingly, the Odia film industry isn’t getting satisfactory help from the state government for the advancement of the business. In addition, the state government is yet to restore the Kalinga Stadium situated on the edges of Bhubaneswar.

Odisha Film Development Corporation Chairman Kuna Tripathy, Development Commissioner R Balakrishnan and senior authorities were available amid the gathering.
